2HR Fire Rated Acoustic Door
This door holds a 2 Hour fire-rating and is specially for acoustic isolation applications. A core composed of three FR Board panels is manufactured in compliance with the latest Australian Standard AS1905.1.2015 (Fire Resistant Doorsets), and is tested to AS1530.4.2014 (Methods for fire test on building materials). With independent sound measurement test reports from the CSIRO/Acoustic Engineering Laboratories, our Acoustic Door Systems meet Australian Standard AS1191:2002 & ISO 140.3:1195 for acoustic performance.
The pairing of fire and acoustic ratings makes this door suitable for a variety of residential and commercial settings in accordance with Australian standards. The density of the door's body is suited to mitigating the transfer of sound from one side of the doorway to the other. Coupled with a door frame fitted with an acoustic seal, the complete door system is set to provide sound attenuation between rooms / spaces.
