Spence manufactures a full range of 1 and 2 hour Fire Door sets to your specification, designed to cover all commercial and high-end residential applications.

Commercial

All Spence Fire Doors feature a monolithic refractory core, containing no asbestos or other inorganic fibres, with metal reinforcement to all hardware locations. Every Spence Fire Door set strictly conforms to AS1530.Part 4: 2005 (Test Standard for Fire-Rated Doorsets; and to allow compliance to AS1905.Part 1: 2005, for installation), your guarantee of optimum protection.

Spence provide technical data and advice, and can assist you with all your fire door requirements.

Finish Options

A wide variety of finishes are available, including paint grade plywood, decorative timber veneers, pressed 4 or 6 panel, fire retardant plastic laminates, steel and stainless steel. Note: Check facing options and subsequent approvals;  as can have FRL limitations for particular facing options.

Doors can be supplied with glazed view panels and Fireproof Relief Air Registers.

Spence Fire Door sets are supplied with fire rated steel or timber frames. Due to strict rules as set down in AS 1905 Part 1, we suggest all Fire Doors are installed by our qualified tradesmen.

High-End Residential

A fire door is expected to be a truly high performance residential feature.

It can be clad and finished in a wide range of timber and metallic skins and blend in with all other door specification or highlight as an obvious exit.

  • Fire door sets are manufactured in a wide range of configurations and actions.
  • Single leaf, single action, right or left hand and double action.
  • To leaf, single action and double action Single leaf, sliding and two leaf, bi-parting, sliding doors (Pyropanel).

Sliding fire doors cater for difficult or limited swing space or where maximum opening sizes are required for the movement of plant or equipment. And sliding fire door installations are actuated by variable speed automatic thermally released links, smoke detectors or fire alarm systems incorporating magnetic hold-open devices which are installed to hold the door in the open position.

Finish Options

Doors are finished in a variety of face finishes to meet both aesthetic and fire rating requirements; Paint grade plywood, decorative timber veneers, pressed 4 or 6 panel, fire retardant plastic laminates, multi faced and edged stainless and sheet steel provide limitless options
